Maritime University student crowned champion of The Moneyverse 2025

The Moneyverse returned for its second season with the theme “Digital galaxy,” reflecting the trend of digital transformation and the spirit of “digital literacy for all.”

The six finalists came from universities across all three regions, including Vietnam Maritime University, Ha Noi University of Architecture, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance, University of Commerce, Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology, and Academy of Finance.

To claim the championship, the contestants had to overcome a series of challenges that required agility, critical thinking and multi-dimensional problem-solving skills.

As a result, Pham Thi Mai Huong excelled and surpassed all competitors to win the season 2 title.

As the youngest contestant, Mai Huong had to prove her abilities more than others. With sharp analytical skills and quick thinking, she convincingly rose to the champion position.

The champion receives a prize worth 1 billion VND and a job opportunity at BIDV, along with various valuable scholarships.

Pham Thi Mai Huong (born in 2005) is currently a third-year student at the Faculty of Economics, Vietnam Maritime University. She previously earned a consolation prize at the 2024 city-level “English Olympic for Students” contest, was recognized as an outstanding student in the 2023–2024 academic year, and received a certificate of merit from the Hai Phong Student Association.
