Lien Hong is the only preschool in the western part of Hai Phong City selected to develop a pilot ‘Socialist school’ model.
With 525 children in 21 groups and classes, Lien Hong Preschool in Thach Khoi Ward maintains a stable school and class size, meeting the needs for childcare, nurturing and education of children in the area.The friendly vegetable and flower garden model creates a green space where children can directly care for and explore nature and develop good skills and habits through familiar daily experiences.Children read books in the school's Fairy Tale Garden. The reading space is suitably arranged, giving children more time to access books, practice listening and speaking skills, expand their vocabulary and develop reading habits.The school focuses on building a safe and friendly learning environment, creating conditions for children to play, study and communicate in ways appropriate to their age, thereby building confidence in their daily activities.Children participate in experiential and exploratory activities at school, allowing them to directly observe, practice and learn about familiar objects and phenomena in everyday life.The school organizes various age-appropriate experiential activities, helping children actively participate and develop necessary skills.Children enthusiastically participate in exploratory activities at school, thereby developing their observation, thinking and communication skills.
