Head of Hai Phong Party Committee’s Organization Commission Le Tri Vu visits and presents gift to veteran revolutionist

On the morning of August 27, Head of the Hai Phong Party Committee’s Organization Commission Le Tri Vu visited and presented a gift to Dang Nam, a veteran revolutionist from Gia Vien ward (currently residing in Kien Thuy commune) on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2).

Nam, born in 1923, took part in revolutionary activities in Kim Son, Tan Trao. He previously served as Secretary of the former Kien Thuy District Party Committee, Head of the city Inspectorate Committee, and Member of the 7th city People’s Council.

At Nam’s home, Head of the city Party Committee’s Organization Commission Le Tri Vu inquired after his health and emphasized that the city Party organization, authorities, and people always respect, remember, and appreciate his contributions to the struggle for national liberation, as well as the cause of building and safeguarding the Fatherland.

Nam is a living witness to the historic milestones of the nation and the city, and a vivid example of patriotism and courageous fighting spirit for officials, Party members, and especially today’s younger generations to study and follow, Vu affirmed.

The Head of the city Party Committee’s Organization Commission expressed his hope that, with his experience, wisdom, and dedication, Nam and his family will continue to uphold the revolutionary tradition and noble qualities, while contributing positively to the local development and the city’s cause of construction and growth.
