Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Committee Tran Van Quan has inspected preparations for the commencement of three major projects in Tan Hung ward.
On the afternoon of August 17, Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Committee Tran Van Quan inspected preparations for the groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies of projects celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2) at live broadcast site No. 4 in Tan Hung ward.
Site No. 4 includes three key projects, namely the construction of a bridge across the Thai Binh river and its approach road as part of Ring Road I (from provincial road 391 to provincial road 390C); the building of a martyrs’ temple and Hai Duong cultural park; and the construction of a bypass road for National Highway 37 through Gia Loc town (connecting Thong Nhat bridge/National Highway 37 with Ring Road I).
These projects are significant for developing transport infrastructure, expanding urban space, and promoting historical and cultural education in the locality.
Vice Chairman Tran Van Quan required that the preparations be implemented thoroughly, solemnly, and safely, befitting the scale of the major event, while also creating broad public resonance.
Relevant units are to coordinate closely, ensure security and order, proactively handle potential issues, carefully review the scenarios and content, and prepare backup plans to guarantee smooth connections among the broadcast sites. The event space must also be arranged appropriately.
As planned, Hai Phong will simultaneously hold groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies for nine projects at six live broadcast sites on August 19. Site No. 4 will be one of the key highlights, underscoring the stature and momentum for new development in the area.
