Hai Phong student wins national first prize of international painting contest

Nguyen Tung Bach, an 8^th grader of Tu Ky Junior High School in Hai Phong city, has excelled among nearly 1,500 entries to win the national first prize of the 3rd IAP French Louvre Museum Exhibition Contest 2025 – 2026, an international painting competition.

The contest was launched by the International Art Platform (IAP), attracting participants from many countries.

Bach’s artwork was highly rated by the organizing committee for its idea, composition and emotional expression, and was selected for exhibition at the Louvre Museum in France on January 16 – 17, 2026, alongside outstanding works by contestants from 18 countries.

“I have liked drawing since I was little. I feel very happy and relaxed when drawing. I try to learn from my teachers, from extra classes and also from online lessons to improve each of my paintings,” said Nguyen Tung Bach about his passion.

In addition to this achievement, Bach also recently had a work winning an award in the “Painting the future of the sea” program organized by the Institute of Science and Education.

Bach’s achievements are not only a source of pride for his family and Tu Ky Junior High School, but also help affirm the talent, intellect and confidence of Vietnamese students on the international stage. This is also a great encouragement for students to continue nurturing their dreams, developing their talents and striving for future success.
