Hai Phong Power Company calls on agencies, organizations, businesses, and residents throughout the city to turn off lights and unnecessary electrical devices from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM on March 28.

On the morning of March 27, Hai Phong Power Company held a launching ceremony for the 2026 Earth Hour campaign with the message "Green Creativity - Green Future," drawing large participation from staff, workers, and youth union members.
At the event, company leaders emphasized that saving electricity is not just a professional duty but a responsibility to society and future generations. They urged all staff to lead by example in daily work and personal habits.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, supporting activities like walking parades and cycling propaganda rallies attracted widespread participation from staff and youth members, spreading the message of efficient energy use to the community.
Since early March 2026, the company has developed plans and mobilized all staff to actively join the 2026 Earth Hour campaign. Propaganda efforts were rolled out through diverse channels, including digital platforms, banners and slogans at company headquarters and affiliates, and integrating electricity-saving messages into production, business, and customer interactions.

Visual propaganda activities were intensified in central areas, main roads, and residential quarters. Digital communication was boosted to encourage staff, workers, and customers to share campaign information. Messaging focused on practical solutions like turning off unused devices, using energy-efficient equipment, maximizing natural light, and adopting clean energy.
To prepare for this year's Earth Hour, Hai Phong Power Company has coordinated with relevant units to reduce street lighting from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM on March 28, 2026.

Through these initiatives, the Company seeks to enhance public awareness of saving and using electricity efficiently, while affirming the power sector's pioneering role in the city's green transition and sustainable development goals.
