Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Council Le Van Hieu acknowledged and shared the concerns and recommendations of the voters.
A delegation from the Hai Phong People’s Council, led by Chairman Le Van Hieu, met voters from several wards at the headquarters of Hai Duong ward on the afternoon of August 7.
At the meeting, voters from the wards highly appreciated the important decisions approved by the city People’s Council at its recent session, especially resolutions related to socio-economic development tasks after the merger of the city and Hai Duong province, the establishment of a two-tier local government system, infrastructure improvement, and assurance of social welfare for residents.
Voters also put forward practical proposals directly linked to livelihoods and the economy, such as administrative reform, the effectiveness of the two-tier local government, the progress of key projects, and support for agricultural development.
Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the city People’s Council Le Van Hieu acknowledged and shared the concerns and recommendations of the voters.
He provided information on the city’s plans and timelines for the development of several socio-economic policies and social welfare measures, affirming that the merger and consolidation of administrative units is creating new development space with many favorable conditions.
The Chairman stated that legitimate opinions and proposals from voters would be compiled and reported for inclusion in the supervision program, with solutions proposed for timely settlement.
