Hai Phong among leading localities in public investment disbursement

According to a June 17, 2026 report from the Ministry of Finance to the Prime Minister on allocation and disbursement of state budget public investment in 2026, cumulative national disbursement reached VND 245,055.7 billion, equivalent to 24.2% of the Prime Minister’s plan as of June 11, 2026.

Hai Phong alone disbursed VND 13,919.4 billion, equal to 37.7% of the Prime Minister’s allocation (excluding the 5% local budget savings).

Hai Phong is among 16 localities and seven central ministries/agencies whose disbursement rates meet or exceed the national average.

That Hai Phong ranks among leading localities in public investment disbursement demonstrates the city’s efforts to accelerate progress on key projects and works, promptly channel public investment into the economy, and stimulate growth and infrastructure development.

For 2026, the Prime Minister assigned a total state-budget public investment plan of VND 1,013,653.6 billion. At the time of reporting, ministries, sectors and localities had detailed allocations totaling VND 1,004,246.3 billion, about 97.8% of the plan.
