Ha Nam Commune boasts the largest guava cultivation area in Hai Phong City, spanning nearly 1,300 hectares.Local farmers harvest guavas year-round, but the Tet crop is the most anticipated by people due to its superior quality and higher prices.
Despite storms in September and October 2025 impacting tree growth, expertise and advanced techniques ensured a thriving Tet season yield.This year's guava season has stable prices of 15,000–20,000 VND per kg.Ha Nam guavas are prized by customers for their attractive appearance and good quality.Farmers earn over 150 million VND per hectare of guava per year.Ha Nam authorities are focusing on building and developing brands for its key agricultural products. Some businesses have registered guava as an OCOP (One Commune One Product).
