In the field of logistics and international freight forwarding, Bee Logistics Corporation’s Hai Phong branch has been recognized as a pioneer in applying AI to production and management.
The company has deployed AI Copilot, an intelligent conversational assistant that automates office tasks, analyzes context, and supports faster, more accurate decision-making. This optimization allows employees to focus on high-value work.
Bee Logistics has also applied optical character recognition (OCR) technology to process documents, invoices, and receipts, reducing data processing time from one hour to just 15 – 20 minutes, minimizing errors, and significantly increasing productivity.
In addition, the company’s AI chatbot, a virtual assistant capable of natural language communication, automatically handles hundreds of customer inquiries daily, operating 24/7 and improving service quality.
“Previously, many data entry tasks had to be done manually, but now everything is automated, saving time and labor and improving management efficiency,” said company representative Tran Thi Quyen.
These efforts show how Hai Phong businesses are catching up with global trends, leveraging AI as a “digital assistant” to drive innovation, boost labor productivity, and enhance economic value.
The city Department of Science and Technology has recently hosted a seminar titled “Generative AI – startup and digital economy development trends in Hai Phong” at Techfest Haiphong 2025, bringing together experts, businesses, institutes, and the startup community.
At the event, Vu Dai Thang, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology, emphasized that AI is becoming a breakthrough tool, an indispensable part of every organization’s, business’s, and locality’s development strategy.
Turning Hai Phong into a dynamic digital economy hub
Hai Phong is focusing on four key breakthroughs: establishing a policy sandbox for experimental initiatives; developing digital infrastructure and the semiconductor industry; attracting international resources and creating a municipal venture capital fund; and building an “intellectual and practical talent incubator” that prioritizes technology training and talent development.
Under the city’s Plan No. 281, Hai Phong will invest in shared data infrastructure to enhance inter-departmental connectivity and information exchange, while piloting AI applications in urban management, logistics, education, and healthcare.
The plan also includes developing high-quality human resources in information technology and AI, promoting public–private partnerships, and supporting businesses in testing innovative products. Cybersecurity, data privacy, and a transparent, safe, and effective AI ecosystem are also top priorities.
Generative AI is not just a technology tool, it is a key driver of productivity and creativity across all sectors. With its long-term vision, Hai Phong is gradually building open collaboration networks for AI to demonstrate practical effectiveness, laying the foundation for the city to become a dynamic, internationally integrated digital economy hub.
