Agrofert Group's representative office in Vietnam held a ceremony at Tan Vu Port, Hai Phong city, on July 21 to welcome the first shipment of meat products imported into Vietnam from Kostelecké Uzeniny, a Czech meat processing company.

The event was attended by Hoang Minh Cuong, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, and Jaroslav Zukerstein, Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Vietnam.

Addressing the ceremony, Vice Chairman Hoang Minh Cuong said the event was significant not only for the participating businesses but also reflected the growing economic and trade cooperation between Vietnam and the Czech Republic following the elevation of bilateral ties to a Strategic Partnership in 2025.

In late 2025, a Hai Phong delegation conducted an investment promotion program in the Czech Republic and signed cooperation agreements with Czech corporations and local authorities across multiple sectors.

Notably, the Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority signed a memorandum of understanding with CTP Group, one of the Czech Republic's leading commercial real estate developers and managers, under which the company committed to investing EUR1 billion in Hai Phong in the coming time.

He noted that the decision by import-export enterprises to choose Tan Vu Port as the entry point for the shipment demonstrated their confidence in Hai Phong's seaport infrastructure, logistics services and supply chain connectivity.

The city is committed to creating the most favorable conditions for domestic and foreign enterprises to expand investment and trade while encouraging Czech investors to explore opportunities in food processing, high technology, logistics, seaports and green transformation.

During the ceremony, representatives of Agrofert Group and Kostelecké Uzeniny presented a product quality certificate to the importer, Ha Long Food Import-Export One Member Co., Ltd., before participating in the official container unsealing ceremony, marking the arrival of the first shipment of Czech meat products in Vietnam.
