After reviewing reports from local authorities and units and conducting field inspections, Chairman Le Van Hieu highly appreciated the proactive efforts of sectors, localities, and businesses in preparing supply sources, stabilizing prices, and ensuring sufficient goods reserves to meet rising consumer demand before, during, and after the Tet holiday.

Emphasizing the need to maintain market stability, he requested that departments, agencies, and localities continue strictly implementing the city’s directives on quality control, product traceability, and food safety, while strengthening measures to prevent trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and substandard products. He also called for enhanced inspection and supervision to strictly handle violations, thereby protecting consumer rights and maintaining a healthy business environment.
At the same time, attention should be paid to ensuring public security and fire safety at markets, supermarkets, and production and trading facilities handling large volumes of goods.
