An Tan Communal House was built and renovated four times.

During the anti-French resistance war, despite being deep in enemy territory, many cadres and soldiers held secret meetings inside the communal house. The rear walls were built double-layered with a back door. Beneath the altar of the four generals lies a secret tunnel; 3-4 more tunnels were dug behind the commune house for hiding if enemies approached.

Leaders such as Truong Chinh, Vo Nguyen Giap, Nguyen Huu Tho visited the locality, with An Tan Communal House serving as the site for local people to host receptions.
Today, the communal house retains Nguyen-era divine steles recording the merits of famous generals Le Thach and Ha Anh; a quadrilateral merit stele listing the names of contributors who donated funds for construction, praising the majestic splendor of the temple halls, which are places of worship for deities who sacrificed to protect the people./.
