Hundreds of participants donated blood and hair at the 'Red Drops of the Port City' festival, helping to share compassion and provide encouragement to children undergoing cancer treatment.

On June 14, at Aeon Mall Hai Phong Le Chan Center, the voluntary blood donation event "Red Drops of the Port City" was held, in response to the Red Journey 2026 campaign.
At the event, the Hoa Phuong Blood Donation Volunteer Club, in cooperation with Dream Hair Station and Hai Phong Hair Association, organized the "Hair Donation Day" program.

The event attracted nearly 600 registered participants, collecting 453 standard units of blood; in addition, 350 people donated hair.
All donated hair was sent by the organizers to the network for children with cancer, helping to create wigs for children undergoing treatment, providing emotional support, and helping them feel more confident in their journey of fighting serious illness.

In recent years, to support the mental well-being of children with cancer undergoing treatment, especially those who experience hair loss due to chemotherapy side effects, the network for children with cancer has developed the “dream hair station” project.

Through the project, the network receives donated hair from the community and turns it into wigs made from real hair to give to children undergoing treatment. This is a practical and meaningful activity that has attracted many teenagers and children in hai phong, spreading the spirit of mutual support and compassion within the community.
