State funding for gifts to residents in Hai Phong city on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day exceeded 446.2 billion VND.
According to the Hai Phong Department of Finance, from August 31 to September 3, relevant departments and units, together with 114 commune, ward, and special zone People’s Committees, actively coordinated to distribute State gifts to citizens in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2).
The total funding for gifts was over 446.2 billion VND, of which more than 442.6 billion VND came from the Central budget and over 3.6 billion VND from the city’s contingency budget.
Under the direction of the Chairman of the city People’s Committee in Document No. 2278/UBND-TC dated September 2, 2025, the city Police, Department of Finance, State Treasury (Region 3), and State Bank of Vietnam (Region 6 branch) will continue to coordinate with 114 commune, ward, and special zone People’s Committees to review and promptly deliver the gifts to those yet to receive them. The process must ensure convenience, safety, accuracy, and completion within the required timeframe.
