Lac Hong Palace is offering 10,000 servings of Hai Phong specialties to visitors as part of the National Achievements Exhibition.
The Lac Hong Convention, Event, and Wedding Center (Lac Hong Palace) has announced that it would present 10,000 servings of Hai Phong delicacies to guests attending the ongoing National Achievements Exhibition in Dong Anh, Ha Noi.
The program targets meaningful groups of visitors, including war veterans - those who dedicated themselves to the nation, the elderly - a symbol of endurance, children - the future generation, and disadvantaged people, aiming to spread the spirit of sharing during the festive event.
The gifts include dishes with the distinctive flavors of the port city, such as banh da cua (crab noodle soup), nem cua be (fried crab spring rolls), banh mi cay (spicy bread), and jasmine kumquat honey tea.
The activity is taking place from 9 am to 1 pm and from 4 pm to 8 pm on September 15 at the Hai Phong booth in the Freedom Zone, Three-Region Culinary Ship area of the exhibition. The organizers noted that the program may end earlier once all 10,000 servings are distributed.
“Each gift is a token of deep gratitude and a wish to connect generations through the taste of Hai Phong’s homeland,” Lac Hong Palace emphasized in its message for the event.
Since the opening days of the National Achievements Exhibition, titled “80 Years of Independence – Freedom – Happiness,” (from August 28 to September 15), Lac Hong Palace has contributed with a food display space highlighting Hai Phong’s culinary identity. The booth, arranged in a scientific and eye-catching way, showcases many specialties such as crab noodle soup, fried crab spring rolls, and spicy bread, attracting large crowds of visitors.
Ngo Van Kieu, General Director of K.N.V Co., Ltd., the investor of Lac Hong Palace, said that participation in the exhibition is not only an opportunity to promote Hai Phong’s culinary culture nationwide but also a way for the enterprise to demonstrate responsibility and companionship with major national events.
It is also a chance for the unit to connect, expand exchanges, and contribute to affirming Hai Phong’s culinary brand within the broader picture of 80 years of national construction and development achievements.
