The tree-planting festival themed ‘Forever grateful to Uncle Ho’– Spring 2026, Hai Phong plans to plant 200,000 trees of various types across the city.

The tree-planting festival – Spring 2026 will take place simultaneously throughout the city on the morning of February 23.

According to the Hai Phong People's Committee Office, the tree-planting festival themed ‘Forever grateful to Uncle Ho’– Spring 2026 targets 200,000 trees throughout the city. The city also aims to plant 500 hectares of forest in 2026, equivalent to 800,000 trees.

The tree-planting festival – Spring 2026 will be held simultaneously across 114 communes, wards, special zones, and numerous city agencies on the morning of February 23.

The tree-planting festival – Spring 2026 carries profound political and social significance, maintained annually to raise awareness and responsibility among all levels, sectors, localities, and residents in environmental protection, urban greening, and climate change response.
