According to the Telecommunications Department (the Ministry of Science and Technology), efforts to ensure communication services for the Lunar New Year 2026 have been implemented seriously, synchronously, and effectively.

Starting from February 14 (Lunar December 27), telecom enterprises maintained 24/7 technical support, boosted transmission capacity, and deployed mobile broadcasting vehicles along with temporary BTS stations in crowded areas. The systems operated stably, with no major incidents recorded.
Notably, maritime communication and search-and-rescue at sea were kept in a high state of readiness. Vietnam Maritime Communication and Electronics LLC (VISHIPEL) deployed personnel, equipment, and transmission lines to provide public mobile maritime telecom services; maintained 24/7 monitoring to receive emergency signals on frequencies 7903 kHz and VHF Channel 16; and ensured the quality of maritime safety information (MSI) broadcasts and search-and-rescue (SAR) information. Vishipel also proactively coordinated with functional agencies, port authorities, and civil defense units to support sea rescue operations.
These results meet the public's communication, Tet greeting, and connectivity needs nationwide, contributing to maintaining government operations, production, business activities, and social safety in the early days of the new spring.
