The Hai Phong Association for Support of People with Disabilities and Orphans has jointly assisted residents in flood-hit areas of Thai Nguyen and Cao Bang provinces.

On October 23 and 24, the Hai Phong Association for Support of People with Disabilities and Orphans, in collaboration with units and benefactors, delivered aid to people suffering losses caused by recent storms and floods in Thai Nguyen and Cao Bang provinces.
In Cao Bang, monk Thich Truong Xuan, abbot of Do pagoda in Hai Phong, together with monks, followers, and members of Huong Tu Tam Club, presented 406 relief packages. Among them were six packages worth 20 million VND and a warm blanket each, given to six households whose homes were severely damaged. The remaining 400 packages, each worth 2 million VND, were distributed to 400 households affected by floods in Hoa An commune.

In Thai Nguyen, the delegation donated 100 packages worth 1 million VND each to 100 households heavily impacted by storms in Gia Sang ward, and presented 130 million VND to Gia Sang Kindergarten and Gia Sang 915 Primary and Secondary School.
The total value of this relief effort amounted to 1.15 billion VND.
During the visits and gift-giving events, representatives of the delegation expressed sympathy for the affected communities and encouraged them to overcome losses, restore production, and rebuild their lives after storms No. 10 and No. 11.
