Hai Phong city has provided Hue city with 3 billion VND to help address the consequences of whirlwinds triggered by Typhoon Bualoi.
A delegation from Hai Phong, led by Vice Chairman of the city People’s Council Nguyen Khac Toan, visited Hue on October 3 to extend encouragement and deliver support for post-storm recovery efforts.
On behalf of the Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong, Vice Chairman Nguyen Khac Toan handed over 3 billion VND to support Hue in overcoming the aftermath of Typhoon Bualoi and conveyed the city’s deep sympathy and solidarity with local losses caused by the typhoon.
Due to the impact of Typhoon Bualoi, Hue city was struck by whirlwinds across several areas, causing severe damage to lives and property. 91 houses were unroofed citywide, including 89 in Quang Dien commune alone, 30 houses unroofed by less than 30% and 59 by 30 – 70%, along with many people injured.
