Each ambulance, described as a ‘mobile emergency room,’ is equipped with modern medical devices sponsored by Vingroup.

Vingroup held a ceremony on December 11 at the 115 Emergency Center to hand over ambulances and medical equipment to the Hai Phong Department of Health.
Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman of the city People’s Committee Nguyen Minh Hung stressed that receiving these vehicles and equipment is particularly significant as the city’s administrative boundaries expand, requiring the out-of-hospital emergency system to be strengthened in a synchronized, comprehensive manner suited to diverse geographical conditions.

The city People’s Committee assigned the Department of Health to guide agencies and units in receiving, managing, operating and effectively using the donated vehicles and medical equipment in accordance with regulations.

The city People’s Committee identifies a professional out-of-hospital emergency system not only as essential to protecting the lives of residents but also as one of the foundations for Hai Phong to develop into a regional center for high-quality medical services, ensuring safety for tourists, investors and the international community.

At the ceremony, Vingroup representatives handed over 15 modern ambulances, including 13 standard units and 2 premium ones, and a range of equipment meeting EN 1789:2020 standards, in line with recommendations from the WHO and the American Heart Association, and compliant with QCVN 31:2012/BYT, with a total value of more than 26 billion VND.

Each ambulance functions as a “mobile emergency room,” equipped with a specialized ventilator, defibrillator with integrated monitor, FAST exam ultrasound, 12-lead ECG with remote connectivity, a video laryngoscope set, trauma immobilization tools and various emergency instruments.
The ambulances will be deployed across satellite stations of the Hai Phong 115 Emergency Center, ensuring readiness throughout the city.
