Chairman of the Hai Phong People's Committee Do Thanh Trung has directed efforts to address difficulties of Pacific Shipbuilding JSC and facilitate its production expansion.

Do Thanh Trung, Deputy Secretary of the Hai Phong Party Committee and Chairman of the City People's Committee, visited and had a working session with Pacific Shipbuilding JSC in Tien Lang Commune on the afternoon of November 4.

At the meeting, the company's leaders proposed that the city address several difficulties and obstacles related to flood prevention and control planning, dyke planning along Hong and Thai Binh rivers, environmental permit procedures, adjustments to the factory's planning, and support for recruiting additional technical workers to serve production.

Chairman of the City People's Committee Do Thanh Trung assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Department of Construction and local authorities to continue reviewing the issues, studying and advising on appropriate solutions and request Central authorities to consider and facilitate the company's investment and production expansion while ensuring disaster prevention requirements and flood drainage safety.

Regarding planning, Trung required the Tien Lang Commune People's Committee to work closely with the Department of Construction to urgently complete procedures for planning adjustment in line with actual conditions.
