Hai Phong People's Committee Chairman visits, presents gifts to policy beneficiaries

Do Thanh Trung, Deputy Secretary of the Hai Phong Party Committee and Chairman of the City People's Committee, visited and presented gifts to policy beneficiaries and people with meritorious services on July 21 on the occasion of the 79th Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 – 2026).

Trung visited Hoang Thi Muoi, mother of a fallen soldier, at Alley 243, Hoang Quoc Viet Street, Residential Group No. 5; Pham Van Sen, a war invalid with an 81% disability rating, at 11 Nguyen Luong Bang Street, Tran Phu Residential Group; and Dao Nang Dinh, a sick soldier with a 61% disability rating, at 6/164 Tran Nhoi Street, Dau Phuong 1 Residential Group, all in Phu Lien Ward.

During the visits, Chairman Do Thanh Trung extended his warm regards to the families and expressed profound gratitude for the sacrifices and contributions made by previous generations to the struggle for national liberation as well as the cause of national development and defense.

He wished Hoang Thi Muoi, Pham Van Sen and Dao Nang Dinh good health and happiness, expressing hope that their families would continue to uphold the revolutionary tradition, encourage younger generations to study and work diligently, comply with the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws, and join hands with local Party committees, authorities and residents in building Phu Lien Ward and Hai Phong into an increasingly prosperous and civilized city.

Chairman Do Thanh Trung also called on local Party committees and authorities to continue caring for policy beneficiary families and people with meritorious services through practical and meaningful activities.
