Hai Phong delegation pays tribute at General Vo Nguyen Giap’s grave

As part of a remembrance program for heroic martyrs in the Central region to mark the 78th War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day, a delegation of leaders from Hai Phong city, led by Secretary of the city Party Committee Le Tien Chau, has recently visited and offered incense at the grave of General Vo Nguyen Giap in Quang Tri province.

General Vo Nguyen Giap’s life was closely tied to the revolutionary cause and historic milestones of the Party and the nation, especially the legendary Dien Bien Phu Victory.

Secretary Le Tien Chau and the delegation solemnly commemorated and expressed profound gratitude for the immense contributions and noble moral example of General Vo Nguyen Giap, a legendary military commander, a brilliant strategist, and an outstanding disciple of President Ho Chi Minh.

Before General Giap’s resting place, Secretary Chau and the city leaders vowed to uphold the heroic traditions of Hai Phong, strengthen solidarity, strive for continued renewal, and work towards building a modern and civilized city of Hai Phong.
