Hai Phong’s agricultural product traceability system now has 80 activated accounts, with hundreds of products featuring transparent information.
The Hai Phong Forest Management and Agricultural Extension Board has coordinated the activation of 80 accounts for 80 agricultural producers on the city’s agricultural product traceability system, HPAP (hpap.vn).
The HPAP platform enables management authorities to access information and closely monitor agricultural production processes. Businesses, cooperatives and households can use the system to disclose production information transparently to protect their brands and expand their markets.
The City Forest Management and Agricultural Extension Board has developed detailed production logs for 12 producers on the traceability system. It also issued two types of traceability labels for two producers to support the distribution of their products on the market: Truong Tan melons and An Phu chicken eggs.
HPAP applies a closed-loop data solution, allowing producers to update all information related to production processes, management of growing area codes, packaging, security technology and smart traceability labels. These features help increase the value and strengthen the brands of the city’s agricultural products.
