Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Committee Tran Van Quan has suggested Hai Duong University continue reforming its management, improving education quality, ensuring sustainable development, and avoiding the commercialization of training.

Hai Duong University held a ceremony on November 19 to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers’ Day and received the Government’s Emulation Flag.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Committee Tran Van Quan commended the achievements of the university’s lecturers and students over the past time, especially its efforts in training and scientific research after the merger of Hai Phong city and Hai Duong province.

He suggested that the university continue thoroughly grasping and effectively implementing the Party’s and the State’s guidelines on education development. The university needs to strengthen solidarity, promote democracy and discipline, renew its management and governance, and pay attention to building development plans, improving training quality, and ensuring sustainable development without commercializing education.
In addition, the university needs to coordinate with departments and sectors to finalize investment proposals, strengthen facilities and modern, synchronized equipment to meet training requirements in the current context.
