Vibrant art program celebrates national holidays

An art program titled “The Country Full of Joy" was held to marking the 51st anniversary of national reunification (April 30) and International Workers’ Day (May 1).​

On the evening of April 30, an art program titled ‘The Country Full of Joy’ took place at the City Theater Square in a solemn and vibrant atmosphere, attracting a large number of delegates, local residents, and tourists.

Organized by the Hai Phong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the City Center for Culture, Cinema and Exhibition, the event featured prominent performers including Moc An (winner of the 2024 Hanoi Singing Competition), Minh Ngoc, Duy Duc, Tuan Hai, and artists from the Hai Phong Culture, Art and Tourism Intermediate School and the Military Zone 3 Art Troupe.

The performance's highlight featured large-scale reenactments of soldiers and the atmosphere of the victory day, alongside contemporary segments reflecting the current transformation of Vietnam and Hai Phong city. Notably, the song ‘Hai Phong Love Song’ performed by Duy Duc and Minh Ngoc vividly portrayed as dynamic, resilient, and modern Hai Phong port city.

Through careful preparation and advanced stage technology, the program created an emotional bridge between the past, present, and future. Not only being a cultural celebration of a major national holidays, the program also contributes to educating patriotic traditions, arousing national pride, and joining hands to build a prosperous and civilized country.
