On the afternoon of April 29, the City Center for Culture, Cinema and Exhibition opened the “Country full of joy” photo and documentary exhibition, welcoming residents and visitors to explore a display space rich in historical value and imbued with a strong contemporary spirit.

Featuring around 260 photos and documents, the exhibition showcases many valuable black-and-white images that vividly recreate the heroic struggle of the people and armed forces in the South during the resistance war against the United States. It highlights the arduous yet glorious journey of the nation under the leadership of the Party.

In addition, the exhibition features representative images highlighting Hai Phong’s notable achievements in recent years across various fields, including economy, culture, society, national defense and security, healthcare, and education. It thereby affirms the city’s role as a key driver of development in the Northern coastal region and the country as a whole.

Through the exhibition, efforts are made to enhance the effectiveness of public communication and external information outreach, while promoting the image of a peaceful, friendly, cooperative, and developing Vietnam to the international community.
At the same time, the event inspires confidence and aspirations for building a prosperous and happy nation, encouraging officials, Party members, and people from all walks of life to uphold patriotism and a spirit of self-reliance.

The exhibition is held in two phases: the first from April 29 to May 2, and the second from May 8 to May 20, at the Exhibition House (No. 1 Nguyen Duc Canh Street, Le Chan Ward) and the Eastern Cultural Center (Ton Duc Thang Street, Le Thanh Nghi Ward).
