Hai Phong night market is expected to feature 22 – 30 stalls offering residents and visitors with local food, specialties, OCOP products, etc.

Relevant departments, agencies, localities, and Foody JSC are urgently completing preparations for ShopeeFood – Hai Phong Night Market, according to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Preparations for the event, including the schedule, location, functional zones, cultural and artistic activities, food offerings, and facilities for the opening ceremony, have been studied and developed and are being finalized.
The night market is expected to operate from 6 pm to midnight every Friday and Saturday, extending along the central city flower garden strip, from Quang Trung Street (the section in front of the statue of female general Le Chan) to Tran Hung Dao Street (the area around the central gas station and City Opera House Square). The location was selected to connect the pedestrian area with existing cultural, tourism, and recreational spaces in the city center.

An estimated 22 – 30 stalls offering local food, specialties, OCOP products, and other suitable items will be set up along the pedestrian street.
The plan includes areas for culinary experiences, community cultural exchanges, and promotion of local products, along with cultural, artistic, and street music activities. Residents and visitors are expected to have access to free Wi-Fi and cashless QR-code payments, enhancing convenience and the overall experience.
The opening ceremony is scheduled for 6 pm on August 28 at City Opera House Square, featuring a military band parade, artistic performances, a lion and dragon dance parade, and a showcase of culinary specialties.
