Tranh Temple Spring Festival 2026 to open soon

The People’s Committee of Ninh Giang Commune has recently issued a plan to organize the Tranh Temple Spring Festival 2026, aiming to preserve and promote the value of the national historical and cultural relic while honoring the traditional cultural values of the festival.

According to the plan, the festival will take place over three days, from March 27 to March 29 (or the 9th to 11th days of the second lunar month). The opening ceremony will be held on the morning of March 28 (the 10th day of the second lunar month) at the Tranh Temple historical site in Tranh Xuyen Village, Ninh Giang Commune, Hai Phong.

Prior to that, on the evening of March 26 (the 8th day of the second lunar month), an art program titled “Tranh Temple – A Sacred Meeting Place” will be held, marking the opening of a series of cultural and spiritual activities for the 2026 spring festival.

Activities within the framework of the festival will follow traditional rituals, ensuring solemnity and compliance with regulations while reflecting local customs and traditions. The organization of the festival will emphasize safety, thrift, and cultural propriety, promoting traditional cultural values alongside the practice of civilized conduct in festival activities.

The event also contributes to educating the public about the tradition of gratitude to ancestors, promoting the cultural and tourism image of the locality, and meeting the spiritual and cultural needs of residents and visitors from across the country.
