Modern technology, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and STEM learning models help develop students’ comprehensive competencies.

Luong The Vinh High School in Hai Phong held a city-level teaching festival and seminar under the theme “Implementing the 2018 general education curriculum toward smart education - focusing on developing digital, foreign language, and STEM competencies for high school students” on the afternoon of November 6.
At the seminar, delegates and numerous teachers from high and secondary schools across the city listened to in-depth discussions on educational innovation in the digital era and observed demonstration lessons in physics, biology, English, and career-oriented experiential activities in the school’s smart classrooms.

The specialized lessons clearly demonstrated the direction of applying modern technologies, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and STEM learning models, helping concretize the goal of developing students’ comprehensive competencies.
The teaching festival and seminar were highly appreciated for their practical value and potential for replication, opening up specific and effective pathways for implementing the 2018 general education curriculum.
