Khuc Thua Du temple recognized as tourist attraction

The Hai Phong People’s Committee has recently issued a decision recognizing the national historical relic of Khuc Thua Du temple in Cuc Bo Village, Khuc Thua Du Commune as a tourist attraction of the city.

Construction of the temple began in 2004, and it was inaugurated in 2009. The site was recognized as a national-level historical relic in 2014. It is dedicated to three heroes of the Khuc family: Khuc Thua Du, Khuc Hao and Khuc Thua My, who played important roles in the process of gaining and consolidating the nation’s autonomy in the early 10th century.

The recognition as a tourist attraction further affirms the value of the relic while opening up opportunities to promote the heritage in association with traditional education and serve the needs of local people and visitors to explore its history and culture.
