Hai Phong youth join in 2025 Green Sunday campaign

Hai Phong youth simultaneously responded to the 8th National Green Sunday on November 23 with meaningful initiatives that promoted environmental and community responsibility.

Accordingly, Youth Unions in communes, wards, special zones and affiliated units formed volunteer teams to implement a wide range of activities, including environmental cleanups; waste collection, sorting and transport; planting of and care for trees; improvement of public facilities; removal of illegal advertisements; and dredging of canals and ditches.

The 8th National Green Sunday campaign attracted thousands of city youth, demonstrating the role and responsibility of Hai Phong’s younger generation in contributing to urban civility.

At the same time, the campaign spread a meaningful message about environmental protection, climate change response and maintenance of green, clean and safe living spaces toward sustainable development.
