Many areas in Hai Phong city will continue to experience showers and thunderstorms on August 12, forecast the city Hydro-Meteorological Station.
Radar images taken around 9 am on August 12 show developing convective clouds, causing showers and thunderstorms in the southern and southwestern communes and wards of Hai Phong, including Cat Hai (Cat Ba), Do Son, Kien Hai, Kien Hung, Nghi Duong, Nguyen Giap, Ninh Giang, Vinh Lai, Tan An, Khuc Thua Du, Tu Ky, Gia Phuc, Gia Loc, Yet Kieu, and Binh Giang.
In addition, a cluster of convective clouds from Hung Yen province is moving toward Hai Phong.
From now until the next three hours, these convective cloud clusters will continue to cause showers and thunderstorms in the above-mentioned communes and wards.
