The Standing Board of the Hai Phong Party Committee has given opinions on organizational and personnel work, a proposed plan to adjust commune-level administrative units, and investment policies for several projects.
The Standing Board of the Hai Phong Party Committee held a meeting on September 22 to hear reports and give opinions on several matters in accordance with the Working Regulations of the City Party Committee.
Le Ngoc Chau, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee and Head of the City Delegation of National Assembly Deputies, chaired the meeting.
Also attending were Nguyen Sy Hiep, Member of the Party Central Committee and Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee; Do Thanh Trung, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the City People's Committee; Do Manh Hien, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee; members of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee; and leaders of relevant departments, sectors and agencies.
At the meeting, the Standing Board of the City Party Committee heard reports and gave opinions on amendments and supplements to the City Party Committee’s Standing Committee’s Regulation No. 61-QD/TU dated November 7, 2025 on reviewing and evaluating the quality of collectives and individuals within the city's political system; the policy on managing and allocating staffing quotas for 2026; the policy orientation on the number of vice chairmen of commune-level People's Committees; and the consolidation and addition of vice chairmen of commune-level People's Committees in excess of the prescribed number.
The Standing Board of the City Party Committee also heard reports and gave opinions on personnel arrangements for the Party Committee of the City People's Council, the City Fatherland Front’s Party Committee and the city's mass organizations, as well as leadership personnel for the Propaganda Department of the City Party Committee; a proposed plan to adjust commune-level administrative units in the city; the investment policy for a project to renovate and upgrade the Sat River embankment section from Cay Bridge to Cat Bridge; and the investment policy for a project to build resettlement infrastructure in Thanh Dong, Ai Quoc, Hai Duong, Le Thanh Nghi, Viet Hoa, Nam Dong, Tan Hung, Thach Khoi and Tu Minh wards.
