Appreciating the group’s goodwill in supporting Hai Phong with projects on flood prevention and urban technical infrastructure, Chau assigned the city People’s Committee to direct the Department of Construction, the Planning Institute, and related agencies to promptly work with the group and report results to the city Party Committee’s Standing Members.
Regarding the upcoming signing of a memorandum of understanding on cooperation, Chau instructed the Department of Finance to take the lead, coordinate with relevant departments to finalize and submit a draft to the city Party Committee’s Standing Members for comments, and organize the signing as soon as possible. He also required support for the group to complete procedures for establishing its branch in Hai Phong, which will serve as a focal point for coordination and promotion of investment cooperation in the city.

Yan Jiehe commended the city’s strong development in recent years, especially in transport infrastructure, seaports, logistics, and smart urban construction.
He called on the city to create favorable conditions for his group to soon carry out investment activities and pledged to ensure the progress, quality, and effectiveness of its projects and positively contribute to Hai Phong’s socio-economic development.

Pacific Construction Group expressed its desire to study and invest in potential sectors such as the Ha Noi–Hai Phong–Quang Ninh high-speed railway, the East–West connection route, the Gia Binh airport–Lach Huyen port connector, and projects in logistics, water treatment, and urban flood prevention.
