Hai Phong honors many outstanding collectives and individuals

The Hai Phong Youth Union and Police co-organized the program “Carrying forward tradition – Confidently moving toward the future” on the afternoon of August 19.

The event was a practical activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2), the traditional day of the People’s Public Security (August 19, 1945 – 2025), and the 20th anniversary of the All-people’s Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 – 2025).

A highlight of the program was the exchange session “Youth aspirations,” featuring heartfelt and inspiring stories shared by delegates. Their genuine stories kindled the spirit of dedication, evoked pride, and encouraged the determination of the city’s young generation to strive forward.

At the event, the organizers of a writing contest on the 80th anniversary of the traditional day of the People’s Public Security and the 20th anniversary of the All-people’s Day for National Security Protection awarded 16 collectives and individuals for outstanding achievements in implementing the contest, and presented 11 prizes to exemplary authors and author groups.

The city Police and Youth Union also honored 26 collectives with remarkable achievements in the “mass digital education” campaign and in supporting the implementation of the two-tier local government model.

This recognition is a worthy acknowledgment of the efforts, creativity, pioneering spirit, and volunteerism of Hai Phong’s youth in the process of building a digital government, digital society, and digital citizens.
