The first Spring Fair 2026 takes place from February 2 to 13 at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC) in Hanoi.

With the message ‘Connecting Prosperity – Welcoming a Glorious Spring,’ the fair is organized on a large scale, featuring multiple exhibition zones and immersive experiences in culture, trade, tourism, and cuisine.

Participating in this year’s fair, Hai Phong City presents an exhibition booth under the theme ‘Hai Phong – Essence of Heritage, Radiant Spring,’ portraying the image of a modern, dynamic port city rich in historical traditions and cultural identity.

The exhibition space is designed with fresh spring colors, harmoniously blending heritage elements, natural landscapes, and the rhythm of urban life.

At the booth, Hai Phong focuses on showcasing the outstanding historical, cultural, and heritage values of the ancient coastal land of the former Xu Dong region—a place with a long history of early Vietnamese settlement, featuring prominent archaeological cultural layers such as Soi Nhu, Trang Kenh, and Dong Son.

The city is currently home to nearly 4,000 historical and cultural relics and scenic sites, along with thousands of traditional festivals, customs, and practices that have been preserved and promoted over time.

A highlight of Hai Phong’s exhibition space is the introduction of two World Heritage properties in which the city is involved, as recognized by UNESCO.

These include the Cat Ba Archipelago, part of the Ha Long Bay World Natural Heritage site, and the relics belonging to the Yen Tu – Vinh Nghiem – Con Son, Kiep Bac complex of historical sites and scenic landscapes.

The Cat Ba Archipelago boasts diverse ecosystems, unique landscapes, and outstanding global geological and biological values.

Relics located in Hai Phong were recognized by UNESCO as World Cultural Heritage sites in 2025, associated with renowned cultural and historical figures such as Tran Hung Dao and Nguyen Trai.

In addition to its heritage values, Hai Phong also promotes its signature tourism products, including Cat Ba island and coastal tourism, cultural and spiritual tourism, eco-tourism, community-based tourism, as well as festivals, events, and urban experiential products.

In particular, the Hai Phong food tour—featuring well-known local specialties such as crab noodle soup (banh da cua), spicy fish noodle soup (bun ca cay), crab spring rolls (nem cua be), spicy bread (banh mi cay), mudfish, and rural snakehead fish noodle soup—continues to be highlighted as an attractive draw, especially among young visitors.

Through its participation in the fair, Hai Phong City aims to strengthen connectivity and promote tourism and trade, while spreading the image of a friendly destination rich in heritage values and full of vitality in the new spring season.
