Hai Phong approves VND 1.8 trillion next-generation logistics complex project

The Hai Phong People's Committee has approved the investment policy for the next-generation Logistics Complex project with a total investment exceeding VND 1.8 trillion and a land area of over 53 hectares in the Southern Coastal Economic Zone of Hai Phong.

The project is invested by Bee Logistics Joint Stock Company and will be implemented on 53.26 hectares in Kien Hai Commune, Southern Coastal Economic Zone, Hai Phong City.

According to the plan, the logistics complex is divided into 3 functional areas, each developed synchronously with facilities such as internal fuel service stations, warehouses, warehouses, truck parking lots, and related services.

The project will be invested in 3 phases. Phase 1 is expected to come into operation in the fourth quarter of 2028; Phase 2 will be completed before the fourth quarter of 2030 and Phase 3 will be put in operation in the late 2032.

The next-generation logistics complex is built to provide transportation services, logistics services, receipt of goods, transportation, warehousing, customs procedures, packaging and labeling, delivery, serving as a logistics center for seaports, airports, and inland waterways ports in Hai Phong City.

Kien Hai Commune is located in the Southern Coastal Economic Zone of Hai Phong, an area oriented to become a new growth pole for marine economy and logistics, with the international gateway port of Nam Do Son and a system of inland waterway ports connecting to strategic northern infrastructure axes such as the coastal expressway, Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway, and the high-speed Lào Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway.
