Five refurbished irrigation works were put into service before the storm season, helping improve the operational capacity of Hai Phong’s irrigation system.
According to Hai Duong Irrigation Works Exploitation One-Member Limited Company, the unit completed and commissioned five projects upgrading intake structures into the irrigation network ahead of storm season. The total investment for the five projects is nearly VND 41.2 billion.
In the coming period, the company will continue to deploy several other irrigation upgrade projects, including: the Ung Hoe pumping-station, the intake at Do Don pumping station, Thuc Khang pumping station, and reinforcement of the upstream and downstream channels of these works.
