The Ministry of Industry and Trade is closely monitoring market developments and proactively setting up plans to ensure essential goods and power supply to meet high consumer demand during the 2026 Tet holiday.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has issued Directive No. 27 on implementing the Prime Minister's Directive No. 36 dated December 31, 2026, on strengthening measures to ensure a joyful, healthy, safe, and economical Tet holiday.
The Department of Domestic market Management and Development is coordinating with localities to implement market stabilization programs, supply-demand connection activities, trade promotion, and programs to bring Vietnamese goods to rural areas, industrial zones, remote and deep regions; directing enterprises to develop plans to ensure continuous and sufficient supplies to the market at reasonable prices; directing units and enterprises to ensure gasoline supply for the market at year-end and during Tet.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade has also assigned the Electricity Department to take the lead, in coordination with relevant units (EVN, NSMO...), to implement tasks ensuring stable power supply for production and daily life, especially before, during, and after the Tet holiday.
