Hai Phong ready to fully switch to E10 biofuel
Businesses in Hai Phong have completed preparations and are ready to switch to E10 biofuel trading across the city from June 1.
E10 biofuel deemed compatible with most of vehicles in circulation
Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan said E10 biofuel deemed compatible with more than 90% of vehicles currently in circulation
E10 biofuel officially distributed nationwide starting June 1
Starting June 1, 2026, E10 biofuel gasoline will officially be distributed nationwide under the roadmap set by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
E10 biofuel sales to begin in Hai Phong on Aug 1
Hai Phong, along with Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh city will begin the sale of E10, a biofuel blend comprising 10% ethanol and 90% traditional gasoline, on August 1.
