For 2025, Hai Phong seaports target a cargo throughput of 112 million tons, 17,000 ship calls, 180 billion VND in port authority fees, 14 billion VND in entry and exit charges, and 500 billion VND in maritime security fees.

In the last four months of 2025, ship calls and cargo throughput are forecast to increase significantly. Therefore, the Hai Phong Maritime Administration is focusing on researching and organizing traffic flow in the Lach Huyen channel and solutions for operating the turning basin at Lach Huyen terminals. It will also continue managing and effectively operating the Hai Phong VTS navigation system to ensure safe ship arrivals and departures.

At the same time, inspection and supervision of maritime construction sites, dredging projects, and vessels transporting petroleum, chemicals, and liquefied gas will be strengthened.
