Putting the satisfaction of citizens and businesses at the center, localities across Hai Phong are stepping up administrative reform, applying information technology and simplifying procedures.
Following the application of the two-tier local government, Hai Phong has introduced various models to reform administrative procedures and better serve citizens and businesses. In the photo: Officials at the Tu Minh Ward Public Administration Service Center guide residents in completing administrative procedures.Several models have been introduced in communes, wards and special zones to help citizens access and use online public services when handling administrative procedures.After working hours, officials from the Hong An Ward Public Administration Service Center visit the homes of elderly and disabled people and those facing difficulties with mobility to assist them with administrative procedures.At the Tu Minh Ward Public Administration Service Center, civil servants and Youth Union members are assigned to provide on-site guidance and coordination right from the entrance to welcome and assist residents. As a result, procedures are handled more quickly, reducing the need for repeated trips as in the past.Officials and staff help many applicants complete their documents correctly on the first attempt, taking only about 30 minutes. This helps reduce travel costs and makes procedures more convenient for citizens and businesses.Localities across the city are promoting the friendly government model, not pursuing formality but instead starting from the actual needs of citizens and businesses. The effectiveness of the model is reflected in the attitude, sense of responsibility and concrete actions of each official and civil servant.
