A Special Lily Season on Vinh Tru Islet

This is a special lily season on Vinh Tru Islet in Le Dai Hanh Ward, Hai Phong City, as the area is scheduled to be cleared for the Gia Binh International Airport project.

This year marks the first time lilies have been cultivated on a large scale on Vinh Tru Islet, which lies in the Tru Thuong and Tru Ha residential clusters of Le Dai Hanh Ward in Hai Phong City.

Once familiar with banana trees, beans, and seasonal vegetables, now these plots of land become more vibrant with yellow hue.

The lilies are blooming all at once, stretching to the far end of the alluvial ground, leaving many first-time visitors stunned, unable to imagine that such a beautiful flower field here.

Each lily bulb was planted and cared carefully. After two months, the lilies have bloomed across the entire sandbank.

This area of Vinh Tru Islet falls within the land acquisition zone for the Mineral Exploitation Investment Project, which will provide fill materials for the construction of Gia Binh International Airport.
