According to Nguyen Thi Thuy Lien, Head of the Con Son – Kiep Bac Relic Management Board, by December 13, there had been 79 groups of 13,208 visitors taking part in new tours to Hai Phong’s world heritage sites. Among them, the “Exploring Con Son – Kiep Bac World Heritage Site” tour attracted the largest number of visitors, with 50 groups of 10,000 tourists.

To tap into the value and potential of the world heritage complex and promote its image, from April to November, the management board developed and introduced six new tours; improved tourism products; restored and renovated items within the relic complex; upgraded access roads, sightseeing areas and service zones to ensure safety and convenience for visitors; and enhanced the quality of experiential activities, including Van Yen pottery making, woodblock printing, calligraphy writing, traditional costume wearing, meditation, and brewing of Kiep Bac lotus tea and Con Son chrysanthemum tea.

Communication and promotion activities were also strengthened to introduce the heritage sites and tourism products to domestic and international visitors. Cooperation with travel agencies and relevant localities was expanded to develop inter-regional tours. The relic management board also supported local accommodation and food service providers in improving service quality to better meet visitors’ demand.
