The virtual quantum laboratory will help lecturers and students at Hai Phong universities access quantum technology more easily.

The Hai Phong Department of Science and Technology on August 13 presented access licenses for the VQ Lab virtual quantum laboratory to support teaching and research in the city.
Developed by Quantum Data JSC, VQ Lab allows users to simulate and conduct advanced practical training at the quantum hardware level. The platform serves as a visual aid for engineering thinking and only requires a web browser with no need for high-performance computers.

The four universities receiving access to VQ Lab are Hai Phong University, Vietnam Maritime University, Thanh Dong University, and Hai Duong University.
Quantum technology is regarded as one of the core strategic technologies for driving socio-economic development. As part of its strategy to foster breakthroughs in science, technology, and innovation, Hai Phong has identified the development of infrastructure and a highly skilled workforce as a priority for advancing quantum technology. The virtual laboratory offers a practical solution by reducing equipment costs and enabling lecturers and students at universities in the city to access, practice and conduct advanced research in quantum technology.
