Meeting workers' needs.

Since March 10, on the Hai Phong City Trade Union's fanpage, the photo contest 'You are the sunshine of March' has attracted a large number of trade union members and workers.

After two weeks of implementation, the contest has drawn over 5,000 entries from trade unions at all levels across the city, becoming a space for female union members and workers to express themselves and share emotional everyday stories.

At Iko Thompson Vietnam Co., Ltd., where over 70% of workers are female, the contest is taking place enthusiastically with nearly 200 entries.

Along with organizing and launching cultural and sports activities, many grassroots Trade Unions in Hai Phong also focus on investing in cultural and sports facilities. At the end of March 2026, the Trade Union of SHP Group Joint Stock Company completed a modern pickleball court at the premises of Hai Phong Paint Joint Stock Company (a member unit of SHP Group in An Hai Ward).

Putting the pickleball court into use provides an additional option for physical exercise, contributing to building a healthy spiritual life for workers.

Innovating and improving quality.

In the early months of 2026, cultural and sports activities were organized synchronously and widely at various trade union levels, attracting tens of thousands of union members.

Improving the cultural and spiritual life of workers is no longer a campaign-style activity but also a long-term strategy linked to the sustainable development of enterprises and Trade Unions. In the context of increasingly fierce labor competition, caring for spiritual life is a key solution to retain workers and motivate their long-term contributions.
