Secretary of the Hai Phong Party Committee Le Tien Chau has called on the Party organization of Tran Hung Dao ward to unite and work together to turn the locality into a tourism hub in the western part of the city.
On the morning of August 4, the Party organization of Tran Hung Dao ward, Hai Phong city held its first Party Congress for the 2025–2030 term.
Secretary of the city Party Committee Le Tien Chau attended and delivered a keynote speech at the event.
In his address, Secretary Le Tien Chau emphasized that Tran Hung Dao is a land of spiritual and cultural significance, home to renowned historical figures and sacred landscapes.
With its favorable geographical location as a gateway connecting Hai Phong with the rapidly developing Bac Ninh province, the ward possesses significant cultural and economic potential that should be leveraged to create tangible development resources, particularly in cultural and historical tourism, Chau said.
Looking ahead to the 2025–2030 term, the Secretary of the city Party Committee encouraged the Party organization of Tran Hung Dao ward to strive toward transforming the ward into a model, united, prosperous, modern, and civilized locality and a tourism center in western Hai Phong.
At the Congress, the ward Party organization set forth four development pillars, including spiritual, ecological, resort, and high-end recreational tourism; a green, smart, and modern urban area; high-tech and modern industry; and high-tech, organic agriculture that utilizes forest canopies.
There also are three development foundations, namely the ward’s culture and people, synchronized and modern urban infrastructure, and digital and friendly governance.
The ward’s four driving forces are innovation, digital and green transformation, regional cooperation, and the development of spiritual, cultural, historical, and resort tourism. Its distinct identity is envisioned as a civilized urban area with a dynamic economy, rich culture, beautiful nature, and happy residents.
