The Hai Phong Department of Construction has organized traffic diversion to facilitate the construction of the investment project for the intersection between Bui Vien Street and Le Hong Phong Street. The plan will take effect from 00:00 on March 15.

On Bui Vien Street, only trucks, passenger buses, and cars are permitted to travel straight through the Bui Vien – Le Hong Phong intersection. Non-motorized vehicles, two-wheel and three-wheel motorcycles, and motorbikes must follow the designated routes below:
From National Highway 10 toward Dinh Vu area:
Vehicles will travel along Bui Vien Street to the Bui Vien – Le Hong Phong intersection, then turn onto Ngo Gia Tu Street, continue along Lung Dong Street to reconnect with Bui Vien Street, and proceed to the Dinh Vu area.
From Dinh Vu toward National Highway 10:
Vehicles will travel along Bui Vien Street to the Bui Vien – Le Hong Phong intersection, then move onto Ngo Gia Tu Street, continue to Alley 732 Ngo Gia Tu Street (or Nguyen Van Hoi Street), then return to Bui Vien Street, continue to Nguyen Truong To Street, and exit onto National Highway 10.
For Le Hong Phong Street, all vehicles are prohibited from traveling directly through the Bui Vien – Le Hong Phong intersection.
Cars, trucks, and buses traveling from the city center to Cat Bi Airport will follow this route:
Travel along Le Hong Phong Street to the Bui Vien – Le Hong Phong intersection, turn right onto Bui Vien Street, proceed to the nearest median opening to make a U-turn, then continue along Bui Vien Street and return to Le Hong Phong Street toward Cat Bi Airport. Vehicles may also choose alternative routes such as Ngo Gia Tu Street, Nguyen Van Hoi Street, or nearby roads connecting to Bui Vien Street to reduce congestion at the intersection.
Cars, trucks, and buses traveling from Cat Bi Airport to the city center will follow this route:
Travel along Le Hong Phong Street to the Bui Vien – Le Hong Phong intersection, turn right onto Bui Vien Street, make a U-turn at the Lung Dong – Bui Vien intersection, then continue along Bui Vien Street, rejoin Le Hong Phong Street, and head toward the city center.
For non-motorized vehicles, two-wheel and three-wheel motorcycles, and motorbikes traveling from the city center to Cat Bi Airport:
Travel along Le Hong Phong Street to Ngo Gia Tu Street, proceed to Alley 732 Ngo Gia Tu Street to make a U-turn at the nearest intersection, then continue onto Bui Vien Street, return to Le Hong Phong Street, and proceed to Cat Bi Airport.
Vehicles traveling from Cat Bi Airport to the city center should follow the route:
Le Hong Phong Street → Ngo Gia Tu Street → Lung Dong Street → Bui Vien Street → City Center.
